- ph 51164: Panoramic photograph of a large group of men, women and children standing and seated on a lawn in Edgewood Park, Eden Mills, 1930. A dense line of trees and a log shelter with food-laden picnic tables are visible behind the group. The men and boys are wearing vests and ties; the women and girls are in dresses. Many are smiling broadly, and a man in the centre appears to have an inverted teacup balanced on his head. Inscription etched on the negative reads, "Nth Erin & Gara. picnic at Edgewood Park, Eden Mills. "Denton" Pano. Photos, Kitchener, Ont., [illegible] 4.1930." Inscribed on the back of the photograph is the name Gordon A. Byers, with an address in Hillsburgh and a telephone number. [MC 72] |
