A narrative of pilgrims and their journeys, written by John Bunyan and published ca. 1793. This book was donated after being found with a pile of books behind the old Church of England rectory south of the Grand River in Elora, which were slated for disposal. At the time the old rectory building was being renovated. It was once the home of Rev. John Smithurst and so is possible that this book once belonged to him.

Diary written by unidentified student, likely from Elora, who writes of weather, social and domestic life, health issues, playing cokinole, attending school, visits of friends and neighbours. Notes charity given to a Metis "tramp"; Notes that school was cancelled one day in March 1899 so that the author and fellow students could attend the funeral of Flora Burns (of Victoria Street, Elora, died March 1899); also notes deaths of Mrs. James Dow and of Guelph auctioneer Joe Heffernan. Refences to visits of and with Jack Inglis, Allie and Sarah Burnett, the Smart family, Mrs. Shortreed, Miss Hamilton, Thomson family, and the Fallis family.
