Beatty] History Pouch. [See - A2008.16 W.G. Beatty, history files, 1876-1951] 1-page typewritten summary of the patent issued to George Beatty for improvements to a reaping machine, 1881. File 2: "Facts," 1917-1932. [See - A2007.62 Beatty Bros., Fergus, Series 12, Periodicals, 1920-1999] "Facts" was a newsletter published by Beatty Bros for its dealers and salesmen, containing news of employees, or interesting facts which might help promote the Beatty products. - Item 1: Handwritten. 11 October 1917, re pump booklet. - Item 2: Typewritten. 1 September 1926, re Beatty reaper. - Item 3: Typewritten. 22 October 1932, re "Old Reaper is Used to Cut Buckwheat." - Item 4: Printed. 22 October 1932, re James Skeoch, re-use of a Beatty Bros. reaper, in lower Nichol Twp. File 3: Great War Veterans Association, Fergus Command, First Annual Dinner menu, 11 November 1920. Incudes list of Officers of the Association, and a list of toasts and songs. File 4: Programme, Dedication and Opening of the Canadian Legion Memorial Home, Fergus, Sunday 7 October 1945 [3 pages, photocopy].
