[STORED AC 43] - file 1: Ship "Eagle," 1831-1833. - Item 1: Registration document, 25 November 1831. - Item 2: Registration document, 7 September 1833. - Item 3: Passenger List, Liverpool to New York, 4 pages, 28 August 1833. List shows arrival of Adam Fergusson and family; James Webster; and Rev. Peter Bell, all in "cabin class." These documents are stamped on the reverse: "Copy / from The National Archive [Washington, D.C., USA] / Record Group No.36 / Microfilm Publication 237 / Passenger Lists of Vessels / Arriving at New York / 1820-1897." SERIES 2: MAPS, 1807-1821. [MC 86] - MAP 3215: A survey of the Grand River, from the North West line, to the Forks about twenty miles, the Course taken on the River when froosen[sic] and containing as the lines are laid down, about 125,486 acres of Land, laid down on a scale of one mile to the inch by [Augustus] A. Jones D.P.S. / Surveyed in February 1807. This B&W photographic reproduction was made 24 September 1981 and is labelled: NMC [National Map Collection] #3113 / H12 410 Grand [1819]; Shows the Indian Grant to the source of the Grand River / Watershed of the Grand / Ouse River. Shade was one of the first people in this area, July 1816, and founded the settlement of Dumfries Mills [Galt], at one time called Shade's Mills. - MAP 3217: Plan shewing the Lands granted to the Six Nation Indians, situated on each side of the Grand River, or Ouse, commencing on Lake Erie, containing about 674,910 Acres.
