Documents relating to the Coronation Hotel, Harriston, 1877-1878, 1954-1962: - 1954 Aug.[9]: Sale of Lot 25 and part of Lot 24, north side of Elora Street, and Lot 21 and part of Lot 20 on the south side of Queen Street Street, Harriston, otherwise known as the "Coronation Hotel" property. Joseph Hutchinson and William Hutchinson, both of Harriston, hotel proprietors [sold] to Francis George Floyd, Harriston, hotel proprietor. Document is signed by all parties but not dated. - 1954 Aug. 9: Agreement of sale of "Goods and Chattels; includes list of "Fixtures and Equipment" detailing the contents of each room. - 1954 [Aug.?]: 2-page reporting letter [incomplete], Thomas Gibson, (Barrister, Solicitor, Notary Public, London) to Francis George Floyd, regarding his purchase of the Coronation Hotel. Letter lists 3 mortgages and their details. - 1959 June 9: Letter, Acker, Moyer and Vorvis (Barristers and Solicitors, Guelph) to Thomas Gibson, regarding Floyd's mortgage with J. and W. Hutchinson; includes letters detailing deficiencies of payments. - 1960 Jan.13: [IN SEPARATE FILE] Plan of Survey showing Lots 21, 21, 24 and 25 in the Town of Harriston.
