Research notes, mostly photocopies, for the Village of Glen Allan; note that over the years the spelling has varied between Glenallen, Glenallan, and Glen Allen. Subseries 1: List of Letters, 1852-1853. [From time to time the local Post Office advertised the names on letters being held locally for pickup]. - file 1: May 1852 - 1 Dec. 1853. Subseries 2: Directories, 1851-1901. [Photocopies of the relevant pages only; most include a brief description of the village, followed by a list of men and women and their occupations; the Dun, Wiman & Co.
