Description |
Stone cottage at 108 Water Street, Guelph, Ontario, and neighbouring memorial park, as they appeared between DATE and DATE. The stone house was home to the McCrae family, and was the birthplace of Lt. Col. John McCrae (made famous by his poem "In Flanders Fields"). This house later became a museum to the McCrae family and John McCrae's military, medical, and literary career, known as "McCrae House". The park to the immediate west of the house is designed to honour Lt. Col. John McCrae. |
