Wyn Orr and friends, ca.1900. Five black &white photographs of Wyn Orr (1876-1947) and friends, taken on a trip to the west. The people were friends of the Short and Williams families of Metz, West Garafraxa. Winnifred Mable Orr was the daughter of Robert Orr and his wife Polly (nee Hutchinson). She travelled widely, and was married first to George Turner, second to Jack MacPherson. - ph 23570: Wyn Orr on horseback, trees and lake in background. - ph 23571: Wyn Orr "in pensive mood", seated on tree stump. - ph 23572: Wyn Orr and two friends, at ship's rail. - ph 23573: Wyn Orr holding cat - "Kits what got burnt". - ph 23574 [in three parts]: Wyn Orr, George Turner (standing next to Wyn, on her right), Ernest "Ernie" Bonner (far right), and two unidentified men. Photograph believed to have been taken in Little Valley, B.C.; possibly at mine site.
