Arnold Ritchey Smith telegram, rail passes, and voter registration, 1940-1950. Records consist of a voter registration card and two Canadian National Railway passes belonging to Arnold Ritchey Smith, and a telegram addressed to Mrs. Arnold Smith. Arnold Ritchey Smith was born ca. 1892 in Stockton, Manitoba, the son of Arthur William Smith and Sarah Jane Ritchey. By 1911 he was living in Palmerston with his grandparents, Charles and Eliza Ritchey, and in 1919 he married Zelma Elsa McMahon, the daughter of Thomas McMahon and Charlotte Somerville. Arnold Smith worked as a train messenger for Canadian National Railway. - file 1: Arnold Ritchey Smith documents, 1940-1950.
