Armstrong, Christian, and Noecker family records, Peel and Maryborough Townships, ca. 1880-2016. Photographs and documents relating to the Armstrong, Christian, and Noecker families of Peel and Maryborough Townships, circa 1880 to 2016. Records relating to the Armstrong and Christian families were created and accumulated by Elgin Grant Armstrong, known as Grant, who was born in Maryborough Township on 30 January 1925 to Elgin Thomas Armstrong (1897-1997) and Elva Orilla Armstrong (nee Christian, 1897-1983). E. Grant Armstrong worked as a chiropractor in Fergus beginning in 1951. He passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus on 18 April 2016. The Noecker family records were collected and donated by the family of K. Otto Noecker (1872-1950). K. Otto Noecker's sister Emma Matilda Noecker (1865-1936) married E. Grant Armstrong's grandfather, Silas Bigelow Armstrong (1862-1941), in 1887.
