Our Wilkie Home / 'Muckle mon Tigh' / Fergus / Upper Canada / 1832; researched by Hughena Wilkie Smith; prepared by M. Lenore Fisher. In 1832, three sons and a daughter of Thomas Wilkie came from Scotland and settled in West Garafraxa, just east of what would become the settlement of Fergus in 1833. This family history includes b&w and colour reproductions; family trees; extracts from reminiscences, letters, poems; and index. Through marriage, the Wilkie family was related to those of Adams, Armstrong, Nixon, Ostic, Sinclair, Wilson. |
