Sepia postcard; close view of derailed train, part of the Canadian Pacific Railway train wreck on the trestle bridge at West Montrose, which occurred 31 January 1906. The Elora Express of 07 February 1906 stated that "A long series of accidents has marked the constructioin of the GUelph-Goderich extension, but this one is the worst". |
