   Combination electric grill and waffle iron made in the late 1940s or early 1950s. It is a Model 551 and was made in Pointe Claire Quebec by Toastess Corporation Canada. The waffle iron (.04) has a rectangular chrome base and a hinged lid with bakelite handles on either side. A circular temperature gauge in the centre of the outside of the lid indicates "cold" "bake" or "hot". There is an embossed image of a flower flanked by two leaves on the lid...
