    A child's white cotton open weave pinafore, circa 1888. Three panels are joined at the sides and the shoulders. The back opening has six buttons. The neckline is round. There is a flounce on the hemline. There is hand made bobbin lace on the sleeves and the neckline. There is net lace on the hemline.

    A pair of infants' black leather shoes (.01 & .02), circa 1882. They have an ankle strap with a wooden button. The button is missing on (.01). The soles are leather. "Size 3" is stamped on the soles. The insoles are missing.

  5. 1954.8.93.02 - Suit, Bathing Swimsuit

    A blue cotton bathing or swim suit, circa 1880-1900. The bodice and bloomer one piece (.01) is blue with a sailor collar. Lined on the collar are two rows of white trim or bands. It is short sleeved with buttons down the front. The skirt (.02) is blue cotton with the same two bands of white trim along the hem. It is pleated and buttons to the body at the waist. It is dated from 1880-1900.

    A woman's bracelet (.01) stored in a brown velvet case (.02). The bracelet (.01) has a square gold-plated locket. The locket does not open. The locket has an oval embossed centre which is surrounded by a floral inscribed embellishment. A double band of chain links are attached at all four ends of the locket.
