1993.29.1 - Dress, Wedding

Off-white silk satin wedding dress with very long train. Bodice has an off-white lace net overlay with full-length lace net sleeves. V-neck with no collar. Hook-and-eye opening on the right side of bodice. There is a panel of lace down front of dress. The silk has been cut out and the lace has been handsewn to the edge of the silk.

1993.29.2.02 - Shoe, Woman's Shoe

A pair of women's white leather slip on shoes (.01 & .02), 1930. The shoes have a low heel. There are leather bows and beading on the front. The bows seem to have been hand-sewn onto the shoe. The shoes match the wedding dress 1993.29.1.

Child's black vinyl purse dated circa 1972. It has three red floral embellishments down the front. The purse has a pair of black vinyl loop handles. Metal frame at top with two clasp closure; the closures are in the shape of hearts.

Ivory, full length, sleeveless dress (.01) with lace appliqué and detailing down the front and matching jacket (.02). The dress has a 1 inch strap, darts on the front and an empire style waist. The skirt is straight, A-line and a plain ivory silk material.
