    Infant's barrowcoat made of white cotton sheeting.Two panels joined at the side seams and gathered to a straight bodice. The plain bodice overlaps for fastening with pins at the centre back closing. The skirt is edged in a very wide hand-crocheted border with a floral motif. Machine stitched. Wide hem.

    An earthenware ginger pot (.03) with plant rope wrapping the exterior forming a handle. Jar is round, squat, and grey in colour. It is dated to the 19th century. The cork (.01) stopper fits into the jar top. On top of the cork is a ceramic lid (.02).

Interior is lined with a machine embroiderd pink and grey fabric. Built in mirror on underside of flap. Three compartments and an attached change purse with ball clasp closure. Snap closure.
