  1. 1977.17.1.03 - Basket

    A set of three hand made willow baskets (.01-.03), made by John Prain after 1890. The set of three are graduated in size. They are made with a rectangular elm frame at the top, and are held together by small tacks. The handles are flat pieces of wood which protrude above the rectangular frame and form the centre rib of the body of the basket. The ribs radiate from the centre rib.

  2. 1986.34.27.02 - Block, Printer's Plate, Printing

    A printing plate (.02) of an image of the first rink in Harriston with curlers. They include: Pat Lavin, John Collison, John Prain and Charles Livingston. The plate was stored in an envelope (.01) with the printed images on the front (moved to Archives and renumbered ph 24691_27).
