    Walnut sofa with black woven horsehair upholstery and stuffed with horsehair. The frame has a gracefully curved back with central handcarved fleur-de-lis design. Curved upholstered side arms with tapered walnut fronts.

    A woman's black straw hat dated to 1914-1915. The crown has a wide black net brim decorated with three parallel rows of braided black straw. Pink flowers encircle the front of the hat where the crown meets the brim. The edge of the brim is trimmed with black lace. The inside of the crown is lined with black cotton.

  3. 1998.23.11 - Camisole Cover, Corset

    Woman's fine white cotton camisole. The yoke and shoulders are crocheted, and encircled with a pink ribbon. At the waist is an added section of lace and cotton, perhaps to lengthen the camisole. Front opening. Circa 1915.

    Dark blue serge three-piece wedding suit, cconsisting of a jacket (.01), vest (.02) and trousers (.03). The coat is single-breasted. The trousers are cuffed and have a button fly. All three pieces are lined.
