Four Windsor chairs (.01 - .04) with a crest rail containing series of arches punctured by turned spindles and a broad single slab seat. The chairs each have four simple splayed legs and stretchers of dark wood painted white. These Windsor chairs are popular factory-made Gunstock chairs in 1870's or 1880's.

Oval brass door ornament of the shape of a dog's head. There is a hole on either side for attaching to door. Hand-engraved on the back is "H 167 Superior Fergus Ont."

2007.28.1 - Holder, Match
Brass-plated cast metal matchstick or toothpick holder dated to 1903. It is in the shape of a man's head surrounded by a horseshoe. There is no top to the man's head. This is where the matchsticks were placed. In raised letters on the back of the horseshoe is "A Merry Xmas 1903 From George."

2007.28.2 - Souvenir Ornament Decoration Hanging, Wall
Souvenir wall ornament, circa 1910, depicting a horse's head surrounded by a horseshoe. Mounted over the horse's head is a shield-shaped plaque embellished with an illustration of a skyscraper and "Hotel Elkhart, Elkhart, Ind." The ornament has a star-shaped hole on the back for hanging.
