    Hand forged iron turnip slicer. S-shaped blade is sharpened on the bottom edge. Circular eye at top to accept a wooden handle (missing). Rectangular hole in side of eye (presumably to anchor handle to head.) It is dated circa 1900.

    A handsewn "Log Cabin" design quilt, circa early 1890s. Lights and darks have been arranged to form a giant horizontal zigzag using a wide variety of fabrics including silks, cottons, linens and wools.
