A barn lantern made of sheet metal with four glass sides. The glass pane slides up on one side to allow access to the interior where a candle would be secured (no candle or candle base with the donation). Child's cloth "rag book" made of linen, titled "Goosey Gander". Consists of six pages sewn with red thread to make a binding. Tops and bottoms of the pages are ragged and unhemmed. Inside are colour illustrations with nursery rhymes. Written in pencil on the front top edge: "John C.? Harper / Alma". Printed in ink on the front "Dean's Rag Books / Patented / London"
