Man's gold coloured silk waistcoat with small blue embroidered flowers on it. Wide turned-down collar tapers at the front middle where the vest fastens via four matching silk covered buttons. Two small pockets; one on each side of the front. The back is bronze coloured silk and tightens at the waistline via two silk tape ties. Handwritten in ink on the interior rear: "J.T. Gilkison / Glasow January 1836".
