    A brass and wooden Maple Syrup Thermometer dated circa 1930. The brass scale has inscribed numbers and letters. It is screwed onto the wooden backing. On the top of the metal component is "The Grimm MFG. CO. LTD/ Montreal QUE/ 1930." The scale is from "40 - 270." On the right side of the scale is "Made In U.S.A. / 13 LB. 3 oz. / Syrup/ Cake Sugar." Glass and metal thermometer is place in between the wooden pieces.

    Green glass bottle made by Consumers Glass Company. The bottle is shaped like a curved flask, with a flat bottom and straight sides. It tapers to a narrow circular neck that is threaded at the top. According to the embossed marks on the bottom of the bottle, it was manufactured by the Ville St. Pierre plant in July or August of a year ending in 8 (1968, 1978, 1988, or 1998).
