Description |
A gold-coloured metal cap badge for the "Honourable Artillery Company," British army, 1914-1918. The stamped badge has a steering wheel in the centre and two banners, on the top and the bottom. In raised letters on the banners is "H.A.C./ Arma Pacis Fulcra". The badge has a crown on the top. The badge has a brass clasp that is soldered on. |

The donor, Miss Lulu Calvert of Guelph, belonged to the Volunteer Aid Detachment and was stationed in Britain during World War I. The buttons and badges in this collection are from that period.
