History: Abigail Higinbotham (1833-1905) was a sister of Lt. Col. Nathaniel Higinbotham and an aunt of Margaret Alice Wallace (nee Higinbotham). She married James C. Wallace in 1867. Canadian Silver, silverplate and Related Glass P. 86 describes the symbol "A1" as Quality; P. 188 tells of a George Savage of Montreal. Joseph Robinson and Co. of Toronto. "Queen of the West" is a specific pattern but references available did not mention it. not mention it. |
