Description |
Chain of Office for the Reeves of the Village of Elora. Wide neckband of black leather, lined with black felt, on which are mounted silver oval-shaped nameplates, each engraved with the name of the Reeve and their date of office. At the bottom middle is a large circular sterling silver pendant engraved "The Corporation Of The Village Of Elora" with a central enamel image of the Tooth of Time. At each shoulder of the Chain is a circular enamel pendant: "The Lions International" and the "Legion". The oval nameplates are engraved as follows: David Foote / 1858 Charles Clarke / 1859 - 1864 J.
