Description |
A crimping iron that consists of a heavy curved cast iron handle (.01) with ridges along the bottom, and a sheet metal crimper (.02). It is also curved and has ridges corresponding to those of the handle. The sole plate has attached wire clamps. |

The crimping iron was part of the collection donated by Nicholas Hugh Keith (1875-1955) of Mount Forest. His collection was the first to be donated to the Museum on Mill Street, Elora. It formed the early basis for the Wellington County Museum & Archives' collection. |
