The handkerchief was found in the Wellington County Home for the Aged, formerly the Wellington County House of Industry and Refuge (1877 - 1947). It belonged to House resident Hattie Peavoy who was admitted in 1933. There are letters to Hattie from her family dated from 1926 - 1931 (See A1977.26). |
