Description |
An infant's ecru silk bonnet (.02) made of three sections. The bonnet is part of a christening ensemble and was worn with a coat (.01), a christening gown (.03) and a slip (.04). They are stored in a separate location. The front of the bonnet (.02) is gathered into the neck and has a rounded back piece. It is lined with a quilted ecru silk decoration. The front section and neckband are decorated with embroidery. The front edging of the bonnet is trimmed with white scalloped net lace. |
