Description |
A plastic slide projector (.01) stored in its original slide projector case (.02 and .03) dated around 1960. The black plastic projector (.01) has an electric cord that is coiled on its base. The case (.02) is made of wood with faux leather. The front grill (.03) (attached to the case) has four screws still attached on either corner. These screws were used to attach the grill to the front of the case (.02). The rectangular grill is made of a fabric mesh. |

The slide projector belonged to Ralph and Mable Allen of Mount Forest. It was given to Donna Troughton (nee Elliott) of Harriston. With the slide projector are 72 slides of relatives and friends of the Allen's. Donna is a great niece of Mable Allen (nee Kirkpatrick). Ralph was in politics and was a Clerk of Arthur Twp. Mable was proprietor of her own dressing salon for 70 years in Mt. Forest. |
