Description |
Beige plastic Thermos brand insulated jar (.01) with screw-off lid (.02). Model #1155, made by the Thermos Division of King-Seeley Thermos Co. of Norwich, Connecticut, USA. The Thermos jar (.01) has a black plastic bottom and seventeen horizontal bands around the exterior. The lid (.02) is made of the same beige plastic as the jar, and has a circular red plastic insert at the centre of the top of the lid, moulded with the name "Thermos". There is a red rubber seal inside the rim of the lid that seals over the mouth of the jar. Circa 1970-1975. |

"THERMOS" is moulded at the centre of the top of the lid (.02) and on the bottom of the jar (.01). "INSULATED JAR" and model number are found below "THERMOS" on the bottom of the jar. The remaining text is circumscribed on the bottom of the jar. |
