Description |
Porcelain commemorative plate with a brown stencil of the Stone United Church. The plate is white with a gold-rimmed, fan-shaped, scalloped edge. Underneath the building in brown lettering is "Stone United Church/ Eramosa Township, Ontario." On the back of the plate on the top centre is a stencil of a maple leaf and "Decorated In Canada". Underneath is other manufacturing information which states, "22 K Gold/ Can. Art China/ Collingwood, Ont." Underneath is in brown lettering is written "Eramosa Stone Church near Rockwood, Ontario, built in 1862 to replace the original wooden pioneer church established in 1846." |
