Description |
Woman's white cotton broadcloth chemise. The front yoke is made up of four strips of vertical Ayreshire embroidery, three strips of diagonal tucking, with similar embroidery scalloped edging on the sleeves, neckline and base of yoke. The yoke at the back is similar to the front. The seams are machine straight-stitched. Some rust stains. 1890s circa. Inscription handprinted on tape "Mrs. E. A. 2". |
