Description |
A grey silk bodice with a detachable collar dated circa 1870-1900. The bodice <.01> is made of dark grey silk which has a light grey flower design. The sleeves are "leg o'mutton sleeves" and feature five decorative silk-covered buttons each. The front panel is made of two layers of light grey silk and is tacked. The front features eight decorative buttons, wide lapels, and is closed by hook and eye fasteners. It is machine and hand sewn. The collar <.02> is made of light grey silk with a dark flower design. There is white lace around the top. The material is tucked in horizontal lines. It is closed by hook and eye fasteners. .01 bodice .02 collar |
