Description |
Hand-held, souvenir cotton flag of King Edward VII (1901 - 1911) that is nailed to a wooden dowel. The flag depicts a sepia portrait of the King set within a blue oval frame; reads "Honi Soit Qui Mae Y Pense / The King" [shame on him who thinks evil of it’ (the motto of the Order of the Garter)]. His portrait is set against the British royal flag. |
