Description |
Doll clothing consisting of doll undergarments (.04 and .08) and nightwear (.05) worn by the doll (1975.98.2.09) dated circa 1915. The doll is stored in a separate location. The white cotton barrowcoat (.04) has two buttons fastening the back. It is full-length with white lace on the hem. The white flannel nightgown (.05) is full length with two button fasteners at the front. It has puff sleeves that are gathered at the shoulders and in from the sleeve hems. The white basket weave barrowcoat (.08) has pink crocheted trim on the edges and pink cross stitching of a wreath and a ribbon design on the hem. It has a pink satin ribbon on the waist. |

The doll clothing belonged to the donor as a child in Toronto, though she now resides in Fergus. It was brought from Germany from the donor's aunt circa 1912. |
