Man's three-piece wedding suit dated 1905. The trousers (.01) are black wool broadcloth with white and grey pin-stripe. The vest (.02) is black cotton, lined with black and white striped cotton. It has four pockets and a six button closure. The suitcoat (.03) is black mercerized cotton, four button closure, three pockets, narrow lapel. |

The wedding suit was worn by James Cormie when he married Margaret Green June 28, 1905. Both were residents of Lower Nichol, just south of Fergus. The wedding was held at the home of the Bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Green. |
