Black and white print of the building that served as Chalmers Presbyterian Manse, on the corner of Victoria Crescent and Henderson Street, Elora, Ontario. View looking down Henderson Street. Roberta Allan adds, "1861, Chalmer's manse built of stone on Victoria Crescent. The first Chalmer's Church was built in 1850. Another house was rented for the minister until their manse was built. For a time in recent years it was used for a Nursing Home. It is now for sale". Chalmers Church visible behind manse and trees. |
