Hillsburgh Feed and Supplies Ltd. records, ca. 1960 - 2022. The building that housed Hillsburgh Feed and Supplies Ltd., at 29 Trafalgar Road, Hillsburgh was formerly S.S.#6 Erin Township. The school was sold to Brampton Milling and Farm Supply in September of 1960. By July 1962 Bob Cheyne Managed this location known as Hillsburgh Milling and Farm Supply. The mill closed and Bob opened it again in March of 1966 along with his father-in-law in Bill Reeve under the name Hillsburgh Feed and Supplies Ltd. When Bob died on January 19, 1997, his wife Arlene carried on the business with their son David. Eventually, David (Dave) and his brother Donald (Don) took over the business. Hillsburgh Feed and Farm Supply Ltd., closed in the fall of 2022 when the Cheyne family sold the property. [Digital and paper copy] Third page after the cover has an advertisement for Miracle Feeds which includes a photograph of the interior of Hillsburgh Milling and Farm Supply including Manager, Bob Cheyne. This location in Hilllsburgh was one of three Miracle dealers in the Brampton area. The locations were Hillsburgh, Brampton and Victoria, Ontario. Miracle used the polka-dot trademark and a signature on every bag for The Ogilvie Flour Mills Company Limited.
