Buildings along the east side of Metcalf Street, Elora, 1961-1977. slide 13515: Small, stone building at Lot 6 Metcalf Street, north of William Street (later called Church Street), beside what was Webster's tin smith shop, which was used as the Elora newspaper office. A concrete pad was installed in the floor where the printing press sat, 04 March 1975. Written on slide, "Elora / Metcalf St north of William". Under Mary Van Vliet's ownership, an addition to his Mermaid Antiques business in the neighbouring building was added on the site of this former newspaper office ca. 2006. slide 13516: Looking south down Metcalf Street, past intersection of William and Bruce Streets (both later renamed Church Street), early March 1962. slide 13517: Stone and frame building at Lot 7 Metcalf Street, on the north corner of William (later Church) Street, 09 March 1975.
