Description |
Photographs and documents relating to the family of Robert and Henrietta Jackson of Conn, Luther Township. Their children were Bill (1899-1970) and Lyle (1903-1978), and daughter Erie (1901-1987). During the Second World War, Erie worked as a member of the Canadian Women's Army Corps. Her brothers worked as smiths/carriage makers in Conn, and Lyle became an auctioneer. In 1936 the brothers bought a Ford Dealership in Listowel and ran it as L&W Jackson Motors. Series 1: Jackson family documents, 1893-1993. [MU 985] file 1: Robert and Henrietta Jackson, 1893-1957.
