Oval shaped metal rasp set on a slender flat metal shaft with a sloped bend. A series of horizonatal grooves create the cutting surface (used to rasp horse teeth). The shaft of the rasp mounts into a long round wooden handle with a brass collar. Handle is natural wood in colour. Hand-forged. Dated circa 1890-1900.

A woman's straw hat with a wide brim, dated circa 1950s. Natural straw in colour; decorated with yellow and brown striped taffeta ribbon. On the front, are four rosettes shaped from ribbon. There is a brown grosgrain ribbon lining inside.
