Description |
The Charlesworth family records consist of thirty-eight items from the Estate of Josephine ("Josie") Charlesworth (1908-1996) of Harriston. Josie Charlesworth was a high school teacher there. Items include include the medical accounts of Dr. Joseph E. Charlesworth; monographs by Edward Harold Charlsworth (1904-1978) detailing his research in organic chemistry; several family photographs, miscellaneous publications and postcards. Dr. Joseph Charlesworth (1868-1953) graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto, and practiced briefly at Mono Mills and Mount Carmel, later at Morpeth, Blyth, Belwood (1913-1915) and Harriston (1916-1944).
