Included are photographs, handwritten text and poems, cartoons, pen-and-ink and pencil sketches, Christmas cards. The family names occurring are listed in order of decreasing frequency: Saunders, Wilson, Brand, Webster, Shanly, Sutherland, Chadwick, Grange, Chalmers and Stewart. There are illustrations of Guelph, but also of/from Australia, England and Scotland; a few from Germany, Switzerland and Jersey, Channel Islands. The earliest dated handwritten entry is probably 1856 (a look back at the year 1855); the latest 1903. Dates between 1855 and 1875 are most common ...
