Denny Bus Lines of Erin Township, scrapbook, ca. 1960-1980. Digital TIF copies, made by WCMA staff in 2017, of a scrapbook titled "First Old Book / Photos & News Clippings" compiled by Joyce Marshall (nee Denny) of Denny Bus Lines of Erin Township, Ontario. 23 pages. It consists of newspaper clippings and photographs dating from ca. 1960-1980. They document Denny Bus Lines' vehicles and staff, school bus information, and includes Ontario Gazette tariffs of tolls, bus schedules, and ephemera. Photographs in the scrapbook have been numbered and scanned individually as follows: Page 1 - ph 50615: Rear of car with sign "School Bus" parked in a home's driveway, black and white, ca. 1960. - ph 50616: Front of car with sign "School Bus" parked in a home's driveway, black and white, ca. 1960. Page 2 - ph 50617: Coach bus with "Denny's" emblazoned across the front and side, sign above the door with "Welcome Aboard" in English and French, and destination "GUELPH" displayed at front of bus, colour, ca. 1975. Pages 3-7 According to Jean Dennison, after a massive snowstorm in 1971 blocked in the 3rd Line of Erin, "a special snowblower had to be brought in from Stratford to clear the snow.
