  4. 1997.21.1 - Pattern Square, Dressmaker's

    Green, L-shaped, metal dressmaker's square, patented 1916. The outer edges are straight; the inner edge is curved. Printed on the square: "The Picken Square / A System of Scales and Curves Designed for Use in the Dressmaking Course of the Women's Institute of Domestic Arts and Sciences". Written in ink on the square is "Mrs. G. J. Jeffrey".

  5. 2001X.16.1 - Ribbon, Prize

    Sixteen school prize ribbons glued to a piece of construction paper. Eight ribbons on one side, eight on the other. Red ribbons are for first prize, blue for second prize, white for third prize, green for fourth prize, pink for fifth prize. The ribbons are stamped either "Wellington School Fair" or "Ontario School Fair". Two of the first prize ribbons are also stamped "Sports".

  6. 2011.43.1 - Tractor

    A 1945 "J.I. Case" model "LA" tractor painted orange with rubber tires on the original steel spoke wheels. The 6-volt battery is new (2011) and the tires are new (2009). It has a 4-cylinder in-line motor and is 54 horsepowered.

    A lapel pin boutonniere vase consisting of a narrow green glass tube with a narrow metal band around the top. A straight pin, pointing downwards, is soldered to the metal band. The tube is oval in shape. The lip of the vase is slightly flared.

    Grey Onondaga chert projectile point made with corner notches. The point is dated to the early Archaic period (7500-2500 BC.). It has a prominent shoulder and a small stem. The point has a beveled edge. It may have been an early knife.

    A white bifacial projectile point made of chert and flaked in a triangular shape. The bottom is broken off but it has remnants of a stem. It may have been a point from the Archaic Period (7500-1000 BC.).

    A short slate celt made with a slightly curved top. The bit end is sharp and is straight across. It was probably mounted on the side to a wooden shaft. The tool is dated to the Late Archaic period (2500-1000 BC.).

    Archaic period bannerstone made of banded slate, circa 2000 BC. The carved stone is in a "butterfly" shape and has a narrow hole running through the centre.
