Mosborough newspaper clippings, Guelph Township, 1921-1942; two sets of photocopies made ca. 1990, of newspaper clippings relating to the people and organizations of the Mosborough community in western Guelph Township; copies are on white paper, have been bound with staples, and each features a purple paper cover; inscribed on reverse of both is address of "[___?___] A. Cleghorn" of R.R.7, Guelph. - item 1: Cover has copy of the title page of "The Agricultural Gazette of Canada", Vol.X, No. 6, Nov-Dec. 1923; clippings inside are unidentified but likely the Mosborough correspondent's submissions to the Guelph Mercury from 1921-1922; 7 sheets. - item 2: Cover has image of page from "Ellis Bros Limited Jewellers Toronto, annual gift book, 1924-5"; clippings inside are unidentified by likely the Mosborough correspondent's submittsions to the Guelph Mercury from 1925-1928; the last three pages include a variety of newspaper articles with headlines that date from the mid 1920s to 1942; 14 sheets. |
