Greeting cards including birthday and birth announcement cards, congratulations cards, and Christmas cards (many of which were sent by members of Canada's armed forces), 1907-1944; also a variety of postcards sent to members of the Soulby family, 1909-1917. SERIES 1: Greeting cards and birth announcement cards, ca.1915. [MU 933] - item 1: Congratulations card, ca. 1915; embossed the word "Congratulations" and with a bird; sprig of flowers has been painted into bird's beak. Addressed to "All of You" from "Mother". [MU 333] - items 2 - 5: four unused birth annoucement cards, each with a tiny envelope, ca. 1915. Embossed stork and lettering on each card, printed on blue cardstock. [MU 333] - item 6: Birthday card with boy, girl, and dog, ca. 1915; "Nine years old", shaped like the number 9; with verse; inscribed "To Marion from Bruce & George". [MU 952] - item 1: Christmas card, ca.1910; shepherd with flock and holly; "Christmas Greetings"; brown cloth ribbon attached; addressed to "Miss Doris Soulby" from "Annie S".
