    A garden spade consisting of a flat, rectangular wrought iron blade with a raised foot step on the right side. Round wooden handle with T-shaped hand grip at end; natural wood in colour. Blade is bolted to handle. The blade has been painted black and the date "1855" handpainted in white.

    A wrought iron fork with long wooden handle. The fork consists of three flat, sturdy tines nailed to a wooden handle. The fork was handmade by a blacksmith. Forks with broader, flatter tines are made for lifting potatoes and other root crops from the ground. The flat tines prevent spearing of the potatoes as you harvest them.

    A barn lantern consisting of a rectangular box made of sheet metal and painted black. Three sides are removeable clear new glass sheets. The fourth is a metal sheet that slides up to open. The glass is protected by two rows of horizontal metal strips. The top is ventilated and covered by one small curved metal piece lying lengthways and one larger metal piece curved overtop sideways.     A small rectangular writing slate with wooden frame. Slate has a hole in the top with string. Wooden nails are visible in order to secure the frame. Some mathematical equations are still visible on the slate. The initials "J.C." are carved into the frame.

    Dark blue worsted trousers with a raised diagonal weave. One hip and two front pockets with strap at back. Four-button fly with buttons at waist for suspenders. Waist, crotch and pockets are lined with white cotton.

    A long-stemmed pipe, with a clay bowl and a wooden stem, dated during 1840-1860. It has a screw-on mouthpiece made of ebony.

    A coffin plate for John Campbell, 1879. The oval, silver-plated coffin plate has an engraved floral border. Inscribed on the coffin plate is "John Campbell / Died July 3rd 1879 / Aged 65 Years".

    A wooden pencil box or pencil case with a slide-on lid. The top layer pivots, on a single screw, to reveal a lower level of grooved storage compartments. On the lid are painted three flowers. Incised decorative border on either side of flowers. Written in pencil on the bottom is "John Campbell".
