    Doreen Howatt, CNE swimming trophy, 1953. Gold plated trophy of a diver perched on top of a fish's tail in water. The base is made of dark finished wood in a octagon shape. Two small brass plaques nailed to the base read "Won by Doreen Howatt, The Canadian National Exhibition, 1953, Birks, Sterling" and "Replica of the J. Allan Ross Gold Trophy for the one mile amateur swimming championship of Canada for women, 1953, Birks, Sterling".
